Beatle Legend's association with Lexus spans over a decade, frequently spotted around town in his Lexus limo
It's obvious from these pictures Paul McCartney has a thing for Lexus. The Beatle legend has owned a few Lexus', most of which are hybrids such as the Lexus RX 400h and this stunning Lexus LS 600h L, the range-topping vehicle in Lexus' fleet.
So when he got married to Nancy Shevell in 2011, there was only one car he would pick to take him and his bride to the Westminster Register Office. Sir Paul's daughter, Beatrice, served as their flower girl.

Despite the sea of publicity surrounding the event, and the hordes of paparazzi taking pictures from every direction, I love how Beatrice, Sir Paul's daughter, was nonchalant about what the whole fuss was about, and kept her eyes glued on the mounted screen, using the remote control to watch (most likely) an episode of Barney. :-D
And as these pictures show, his love for the Lexus LS 600h L runs deep. Frequently spotted in and around town, the Lexus LS 600h L takes Paul to his favourite restaurant, to the gym, and official events.
So what's Paul McCartney's Lexus LS 600h L like? Given his passion for the environment, you can bet this is a tree-hugging hybrid. Its mill is a 5.0-litre V8 that produces 389 bhp and 385 lb ft of torque, coupled to two electric motors to boost overall output to 438 bhp. This car is a behemoth, at more than 5 metres from front to end, but it's quick on its heels, with a 0-60mph time of just 5.5 seconds.
I don't know where to begin with the standard equipment because (a) the list is just too long and (b) I've written about it previously, so instead, let's just focus on the bells and whistles at the back where Sir Paul and his wife would normally spend their time. :-) The Lexus LS 600h L comes with reclining Ottoman seats equipped with massage functions and are, of course, heated and ventilated, and comes equipped with a refrigerator to store a bottle of bubbly and a commercial-airliner style folding table where you can rest your champagne flutes, laptop, or simply upon which to rest on your laurels knowing you've made it as one of the world's biggest pop stars.
In 2007, Lexus made a one-off version of its RX 400h called the Paul McCartney Signature Edition. Finished in black paint, the vehicle carried Sir Paul's signature on the exterior of the front doors, framed against the silhouette of his favourite electric guitar. Rumour was, you could own this particular model by winning an auction in aid of one of Paul McCartney's favourite charities, Adopt-a-Minefield.
Even back in 2006, Paul McCartney would be driven for his USA tour in a Lexus RX 400h. He must really love Lexus to be associated with the brand for a decade at least.
Regardless whether its the RX 400h or the LS 600h L, Paul McCartney has great taste when it comes to cars!
Cheers!
All Lexus
Cute reference to Barney. However the whole paragraph doesn't quite make sense. But I get your point. And yes - sir Paul McCartney may just about love lexis as much as you do. Haha
