Oscar-nominee makes glamorous TV commercial on all-new Lexus RX
Talented Hollywood actor Jude Law and Lexus just announced a collaboration for a campaign aimed to showcase new levels of sophistication, luxury and excitement in the all-new Lexus RX.
Produced by CHI&Partners, the commercial, entitled 'The Life RX,' shows the handsome actor pulling up to a hotel lobby in his sharply-styled Lexus RX. He tosses the keys to the valet who jumps at the chance to take the car for a spin around town to live the high life, setting off on his own adventures, unknown to its glamorous owner.
The vehicle then arrives back at the lobby in the nick of time before Jude Law notices anything amiss - but he still does. In his mischief, the wayward valet accidentally leaves his red coat in the car, arousing Jude Law to suspect not everything looks as it appears.
Speaking of his debut partnership with Lexus, Jude Law said, "I love driving and the escapism that comes with it. The concept of 'The Life RX' was such an interesting one, as it's true that the right car can give you the keys to an extraordinary experience."
Alain Uyttenhoven, Head of Lexus Europe said, "We are extremely excited to be partnering with a fantastic actor and a true gentleman, Jude Law, for 'The Life RX' campaign. 'The Life RX' mirrors the fact that the RX brings a different, rewarding product experience based on a bold design, innovative technologies and, above all, a premium luxury feel."
He continues, "At Lexus, providing unparalleled progressive luxury experience is at the heart of our brand DNA and we wanted to bring this message to life with an innovative launch campaign and television ad."
I'm quite sure as part of his endorsement deal, Jude Law was given a set of keys to his own Lexus RX. For the rest of us, Lexus launched the all-new 2016 RX just last month, in November.
This clever TV commercial teaches us one very important lesson, so lean in and prick your ears: If you're a celebrity or drive a fancy schmanzy car, for heaven's sake: Install a GoPro!
